Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters continue to create buzz ahead of their upcoming 2018 U.S. winter tour. The ex-Led Zeppelin frontman and company will release “Live at David Lynch’s Festival of Disruption” on Feb. 9 in DVD and digital formats via Eagle Rock.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer posted a film trailer for the live set on Jan. 9 via Plant's official YouTube channel. The concert was originally filmed and recorded on Oct. 9 in Los Angeles at The Theatre at Ace Hotel, during a performance at David Lynch's Festival of Disruption and had its television debut last March on AXS-TV.
The concert features the “Whole Lotta Love” hitmaker dazzling the fortunate few who had tickets to the sold out concert with an eight-song setlist of re-worked Zep classics like "Black Dog” and "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" along with a few track's from Plant's 10th solo album Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar. The upcoming DVD release will be the first time the concert has been made available on home video.
“Live at David Lynch's Festival of Disruption” is available for pre-order here. Proceeds from the sale of this home release will benefit the David Lynch Foundation. Fans can check out the film trailer above.
Robert Plant will return to North America next month to tour in continued support of his 11th solo studio album Carry Fire, which dropped on Oct. 13, 2017 via Nonesuch/Warner. The winter romp will launch Feb. 9 in Raleigh, N.C., at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium and wraps up March 2 in Los Angeles at Orpheum Theatre.
