Musical performances on late-night talk shows are usually fun and upbeat, but band Snow Patrol recently took to The Late Late Show with a moving rendition of "What If This Is All the Love You Ever Get?" But it was their rehearsal of the song that fans will love.
Host James Corden, who invited the band to perform just the night before and a talented singer in his own right, joined them in rehearsals with his soft voice for the emotional, stripped-down ballad, leaning over the back of the piano with frontman Gary Lightbody. Snow Patrol previously appeared on the talk show over the summer to perform their single "Heal Me."
The track is from the band's latest album, Wildness, and can be heard in various versions as the band has been releasing remixes, with more expected in two weeks. Wildness is Snow Patrol's first album in seven years and is on sale now.
Snow Patrol will also play a few shows in the UK in early 2019 in support of Wildness. Tickets for select shows are on sale now right here on AXS.
