The Migos have stood the test of time and became one of the most respected hip-hop groups of this generation over the past five years. Now, with the Atlanta-based collective at the peak of their popularity, all three members of the prestigious group are releasing solo musical offerings. The frontman of the Migos, Quavo, recently released his studio solo debut entitled, Quavo Huncho, this past October and now has released visuals for his latest single, "How Bout That" which features some very notable Space Jam references found throughout the video.
Quavo acts as a player/coach in the video, riling up his defeated basketball team members during halftime with his motivating lyrics. Throughout the video, the 27-year-old rapper provides his players with 'Quavo's Secret Stuff' a nod to Bugs Bunny's 'Mike's Secret Stuff' and has the team touch a glowing ball similar to that of the ball that gave the Monstars their basketball playing ability in the notorious '90s basketball movie starring Michael Jordan. Of course, Quavo's team comes out second half and puts on a basketball clinic against their opposition.
With Quavo's first-ever solo effort doing rather well and Takeoff's, The Last Rocket, receiving rave reviews, it's now time for Offset to take his talents to the forefront of the group and release his upcoming solo studio album next month in December. With that said, check out Quavo's latest visuals for his single, "How Bout That" for yourself in the video provided below.
