U.K. pop group Steps premiered the music video for "Neon Blue" on Aug. 11. The quintet parties it up in the new clip.
"Neon Blue" is the third single from Steps' Tears on the Dancefloor album. Previously, the comeback record yielded lead single "Scared of the Dark" and follow-up release "Story of a Heart." Steps continues spreading good cheer on "Blue," their glowing ode to celebrating away the bad times. "Come out, come out and dance with me / If you're down it's a remedy," the members sing together. "Blue" is the perfect pop potion for fighting the blues.
Member Lee Latchford-Evans wrote the story treatment for the "Neon Blue" music video with his wife, Kerry-Lucy Taylor, and stylist Frank Strachan. Lee, Claire Richards, Ian "H" Watkins, Lisa Scott-Lee and Faye Tozer team up in turning a rundown space into club Neon Blue. A guy and girl, who both appear down and out on their luck, are invited to the place where they dance their troubles away with the band. The feel good hues of the song come through beautifully on the screen.
"Neon Blue" along with remixes by Adam Turner and 7th Heaven (watch music video below) are now available on iTunes and Apple Music. Steps will tour the Tears on the Dancefloor album this winter across the U.K.
