Singer-songwriter and guitarist Steve Gunn has released a new song called “Stonehurst Cowboy” from his upcoming album The Unseen In Between. As Pitchfork reported, the song is a tribute to Gunn’s father who passed away in 2016. "Stonehurst Cowboy" came with a video as well; you can watch it above.

Steve Gunn’s The Unseen In Between arrives on Jan. 18 and is the follow up to his 2016 LP Eyes on the Lines. Gunn was also a member of Kurt Vile’s band The Violators. The two singer-songwriters released a joint album in 2015.

Gunn’s “Stonehurst Cowboy” follows the lead single from The Unseen In Between, "New Moon," which Gunn released in October along with plans to tour in early 2019.
