"SNL" posted a promo for tomorrow night’s episode featuring musical guest Taylor Swift and host, Tiffany Haddish. In it, Swift tells Haddish how excited she is that they’re doing "SNL" together and the “Girls Trip” actress quickly cuts in asking whether any of the songs on Swift’s newly-released sixth studio album, Reputation, are about her. The “Gorgeous” singer quietly replies, “Well, no.” So, Haddish asks if they can just “pretend” they are and she's ecstatic about Swift’s response. You can watch their hilarious exchange play out in the video above.
Swift has hosted and been the musical guest on SNL multiple times. Her impending Nov. 11 appearance marks her first since the "2015 SNL 40th Anniversary Special." Reputation officially dropped today (Nov. 10) following the release of four singles “Look What You Made Me Do,” “…Ready For It?,” “Gorgeous” and “Call It What You Want.” Swift also premiered a Reputation Secret Sessions performance of the album’s last track, “New Year’s Day,” during this week’s episode of “Scandal” on ABC last night.
Haddish, who had her big screen breakout role opposite Queen Latifah, Regina King and Jada Pinkett Smith in “Girls Trip,” will make her "SNL" hosting debut. She’ll also reportedly make history as the first-ever black female comedian to host the show.
Swift will follow up her "SNL" performance by making some more live appearances in New York, L.A. and London. Official Reputation World Tour Dates are still TBD. Stay tuned to AXS for Taylor Swift tour information, tickets and updates.
