Whether he’s with Rage Against the Machine, Prophets of Rage or going solo, one thing is certain: Tom Morello will always use the power of music to fight injustice. The guitarist recently shared a video for the first single from his upcoming solo album, The Atlas Underground. For “We Don’t Need You” Morello enlisted the help of rapper Vic Mensa. While they don’t mention any names, it’s pretty clear who the song is addressing. You can watch Tom Morello and Vic Mensa in the video for “We Don’t Need You” above.

The Atlas Underground arrives Oct. 12 via Mom + Pop Records. As Billboard reported, the album will also feature guest appearances from RZA, GZA, Killer Mike, Pretty Lights, Big Boi, Gary Clark Jr., K. Flay, Portugal. The Man, Marcus Mumford and more. Along with “We Don’t Need You” Morello has also shared The Atlas Underground track “Battle Sirens” featuring Knife Party. You can listen to it below.
