The Weezer “Africa” saga continues. After scoring their first rock radio #1 with a cover of the 1982 Toto classic, Weezer has finally released an official video for “Africa.” The visual stars “Weird Al” Yankovic and is a parody of Weezer’s iconic video for “Undone -- The Sweater Song” from the band’s 1994 self-titled debut album, aka The Blue Album. In the video, Yankovic plays Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and delivers a scorching accordion solo. You can watch the visual for Weezer’s rendition of Toto’s “Africa” above.

After releasing “Africa” in May--as well as a cover of Toto’s “Rosanna”--Weezer performed “Africa” live on Jimmy Kimmel with Toto keyboardist Steve Porcaro. Toto then returned the favor by recording a smokin’ version of Weezer’s “Hash Pipe” from the latter band’s 2001 eponymous album, aka The Green Album. Yankovic joined Weezer for a live rendition of “Africa” back in August. You can watch the performance here.

In Toto news, the band is set to embark on their 40 Trips Around the Sun tour this fall to celebrate the group's 40th anniversary. You can find tickets to select Toto dates on AXS by clicking here.
