Ween returning to Red Rocks, adds second show

Break out the chocolate and cheese covered mollusks: Ween is returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2018.

The beloved alt rock band will be performing at Red Rocks on June 5 for what's currently their only scheduled show of the year. Presale begins tomorrow through the band's website; general on sale begins this Friday, Feb. 16 right here on AXS.com. UPDATE: Ween has added a second Red Rocks date. They will also play on Wednesday, June 6. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, March 2; grab yours here.

Colorado has always been something of a second home to Gene and Dean Ween (aka Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo). Following a short-lived breakup, the band played their first reunion shows during a three-night run at Denver's 1STBANK Center in 2016 (their final show prior to the hiatus was also in Denver). Ween played their first Red Rocks show in eight years last summer.

The band has a reputation for their marathon concerts (they played 100 songs in three nights at the aforementioned 1STBANK shows) and their diverse yet consistent discography promises a set that will keep fans on their toes. Tickets will sell out quickly so be sure to bookmark this page and set those alarms for 10am on Friday, Feb. 16 so you can get your Red Rocks tickets before they're gone.
