The wait for spring festival season has intensified with the announcement of Welcome To Rockville’s initial 2017 lineup.
Touted as Florida’s biggest rock experience, the fest announced today (Dec. 5) that legendary Seattle band Soundgarden headlines Saturday, April 29, with classic rockers Def Leppard topping the bill on Sunday, April 30.
Held in Jacksonville, Fla., at Metropolitan Park, Welcome to Rockville’s current full lineup is as follows: Soundgarden, Def Leppard, A Perfect Circle, The Offspring, Mastodon, Chevelle, Seether, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, Pierce The Veil, Coheed and Cambria, Alter Bridge, The Pretty Reckless, Amon Amarth, Eagles of Death Metal, Highly Suspect, Dillinger Escape Plan, In Flames, Gojira, In This Moment, Motionless In White, All That Remains, Nothing More, Rival Sons, Beartooth, Every Time I Die, Attila, Starset, Dinosaur Pile-Up, I Prevail, Kyng, Crobot, Volumes, Sylar, Fire From the Gods, As Lions, Badflower, Goodbye June, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Cover Your Tracks, The Charm The Fury, and more to be announced.
"Without a doubt we can't wait to throw down with our rock and metal fans at Welcome To Rockville fest,” Chevelle frontman Pete Loeffler said in a press release. “Ever since the beginning for us, we've seen how absolutely amazing and rabid you guys can get in Florida! Initially a one-day rock music festival, Welcome To Rockville kicks off the annual World’s Loudest Month festival series. In addition to top rock acts playing three stages, the fest features entertainment options including the Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Row, FYE Fan Experience, Monster Energy Experience, and more.
Specially priced tickets, plus hotel and VIP packages for Welcome To Rockville will be available starting on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at noon EST at www.WelcomeToRockvilleFestival.com. World's Loudest Month features eight distinct rock festivals across the country in April and May.
