Wild Nothing announce new album 'Indigo,' reveal 2018 fall tour dates

Virginia indie rock band Wild Nothing will deliver some more heavenly tunes with their new album Indigo. Announced today, the 11 track album will be released on August 31 through Captured Tracks. The group gave fans their first taste of the new album with the song "Letting Go."

Pre-orders for the album are live right now. For vinyl lovers, the album will be available in black and red. There will only be 750 copies of the red vinyl available for purchase.

This fall, Wild Nothing will promote the new record on a tour across North America. The band will make their way to Atlanta's Terminal West on Oct. 17, Birmingham's Saturn on Oct. 18, Denver's Bluebird Theater on Nov. 4, Boston's Royale on Nov. 14, New York City's Brooklyn Steel on Nov. 16, and Philadelphia's Underground Arts on Nov. 17. 

The full tour routing can be seen below. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (June 8) at noon. 

Indigo is the follow up to Wild Nothing's 2016 studio album Life of Pause, which peaked at number two on the Heatseekers Albums chart, number six on the Vinyl Albums chart, and number 10 on the Independent Albums chart.
