The Great American Beer Festival gets even better in 2019 when it returns from October 3-5 at Denver's Colorado Convention Center. Along with sampling craft beers offered by 800 breweries from across the U.S., lager lovers will also have the opportunity to enjoy great bluegrass music at the Ikon Pass Stage.
GABF has teamed with WinterWonderGrass for the very first time to present some of the best of Colorado's bluegrass scene. Each of the festival's four sessions will present three 30-minute sets, which are included free with the price of admission.
The Oct. 3 evening session features the talents of Leftover Salmon's co-founders Andy Thorn and Vince Herman. The mega-talented pair will be accompanied during the performance by multi-instrumentalist Silas Herman.
Newcomers WinterWonderWomen will headline the Oct. 4 evening session. Led by Elephant Revival founding member Bridget Law, the all-female lineup also includes Shelby Means, Courtney Hartman, and Bonnie Sims.
Meadow Mountain heads up the Oct. 5 afternoon session. The Denver-based outfit took the top spot at the 2017 Rockygrass Band Competition and is currently working on a followup to their 2018 self-titled debut album.
2018 Telluride Bluegrass winners Wood Belly strut their stuff at the Oct. 5 evening session. The talented quintet has become mainstays on the summer festival circuit as they continue to support their 2018 debut album, Solid Ground.
Tickets for select GABF dates are still available but selling fast. Don't miss your chance to enjoy world-class bluegrass while sampling some of the best beer in the country.
