Wolf Alice‏ will return to the US for 'mammoth headline tour' this spring

British rock band Wolf Alice are coming over to the U.S. this spring for a 32-date tour of the U.S. starting on March 16 in Berkeley, Calif. and running until their appearance at New York's Governors Ball in early June. The upcoming run of North American concerts will continue to promote the band’s highly received sophomore album, Visions of a Life, which was released back in Sept. 29 via notable independent label Dirty Hit Records.

The spring tour will see the powerful rock band visiting both major and secondary markets, including Los Angeles’ Mayan Theater, Columbus’ Newport Music Hall and Norfolk’s The Norva just to name a few. Their own headlining run will last until late April 22, after which they'll team up with Queens of the Stone Age as the support act on a handful of concerts in the southeast U.S. leading into early May. Wolf Alive are also scheduled to perform on the opening day of Governors Ball, as part of the loaded Friday lineup that also includes Jack White, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Pond.

Following their formation in the early 2010s and expanding their lineup and sound to a much stronger and demanding musical presence, Wolf Alice have since become one of the top rock outfits to emerge in what has been a rap-heavy past few years in mainstream music. As synth-pop and art-rock continue to flourish throughout the modern rock scene, Wolf Alice have forged their own path by mixing heavier influences with a wonderfully unique blend of melodies thanks to the vocal diversity of singer Ellie Rowsell. Following its fall release, Visions of a Live reached No. 2 on the U.K. album sales chart, and saw the band playing a handful of U.S. shows throughout the remainder of 2017.

Tickets for select shows on the band’s upcoming spring tour will be going on sale starting tomorrow, Jan. 26, and can be purchased by clicking here.
