Dogs on leashes and that are up to date with their rabies shots are welcome.
Live music will be filling the air throughout the day, The Roustabouts, Hitlist, Chewy and The Grateful Friends, and Vybrations will spend the day entertaining your family. When the bands take a break the fun doesn't stop, the Hippie Dog contest will be held at 4:15 pm. Make sure you are there cheering on your favorite hippie dressed canine friend while they strut their stuff on stage. The day will include raffles, food, music, vendors and so much more to help raise money for a local animal shelter. The animals need your help, and attending this fundraiser is one way you can help and have fun at the same time.
This past week the volunteers and the Animal Shelter took a major hit, money that has been raised so far was stolen from them. This money was going to be used to help provide more entertainment and fun for the event. Please come out and show your support and help the volunteers provide love and care for the homeless animals that are waiting for their forever homes. If you are an animal lover and want to help please consider making a donation, volunteering your services at the event or the shelter throughout the year, or adopt one of the many furry friends looking for a loving family to call their own.
