WWE Elimination Chamber is prime spot to introduce women's tag team titles

On the wacky, winding Road to WrestleMania, the WWE makes an all-important pit stop Feb. 25 at Nevada's historic T-Mobile Arena for Elimination Chamber 2018. At this terrifying event, WWE superstars are locked in -- and released one by one -- from a steel chamber to the inside of the ring.

What horrors await the WWE athletes involved in this show? On Feb. 25, there's sure to be carnage and destruction on display, live on the WWE Network. Since Elimination Chamber is one of the last marquee pay-per-view shows before WrestleMania, the WWE will undoubtedly use the event to tie up loose story-lines heading into the April spectacular in New Orleans.

No matches have been made official for Elimination Chamber 2018. The full fight card will slowly be revealed in the days and weeks ahead. What we do know at present time is that this show would be a prime spot to introduce women's tag team titles to "Raw."

It has already been announced that this year's Elimination Chamber will be a Raw-branded event. That said, the time is right to open a tag team division for the ladies, with a world title on the line.

Since a handful of new female competitors were recently unveiled on "Raw," there's finally enough talent to fill out a full women's tag team division. Considering that four legit teams already exist -- The Bella Twins, Lana and Tamina, The Riott Squad and Absolution, it makes sense to unveil the title stakes at Elimination Chamber. Perhaps a tag team tournament for the belts would be a good idea. Tickets for WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 can be scooped up right here on AXS.
