Years & Years announce Palo Santa tour dates

There is no mistaking that Years & Years make synth-pop sound awesome.

They’ve been perfecting their craft for the past 18 years now, and the band has no plans to slow down now. In fact, the British made up of Olly Alexander, Mikey Goldsworthy, and Emre Turkmen, are just now entering their prime.

After spending their early years fine-tuning their craft, the band hit paydirt in 2015 with the fantastic “King.” The single was an across the board smash, topping the charts in their native England and entering the Top 20 on the Billboard Dance Charts (#14).

From there, it was nothing but success for Years & Years, especially in the U.K. where the band had hit-after-hit. The Billboard charts were a tougher nut to crack, but this year, Years & Years was able to land two Top 20 hits on the Dance charts, the beautiful “Sanctify” (#19) and equally wonderful “If You’re Over Me” (#16), both gleaned from their second LP, Palo Santo.

Palo Santo is a crowning achievement for the band, consistent in both sound and song selection. Palo Santo was a hit all over the world, and to support the LP, Years & Years will embark on the Palo Santo tour, which will stretch well into 2019.
