Zac Brown Band to headline at Summerfest 50! in Milwaukee

The Zac Brown Band will headline at Marcus Amphitheater on Sat., July 1, 2017 for Summerfest’s 50th Anniversary season in Milwaukee, Wisc. per a Jan.13,2017 announcement from World Music Festival, Inc. Summerfest 50! will be held on June 28-July 2 and July 4-9, 2017.

Zac Brown Band will kick off their 2017 headlining concert Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Atlanta. Their 40 +date tour will include large venues including the Hollywood Bowl, Coors Field, Wrigley Field, Gorge Amphitheater and BB&T Pavilion in Camden.

They are the winner of three Grammys, including “Best New Artist” in 2009, “Best Country Collaboration With Vocals” for “As She’s Walking Away in 2010, and “Best Country Album” for Uncaged in 2012.They were honorees at the 2016 Grammys on the Hill Awards in Washington D.C. for their commitment to philanthropic causes.

Tickets for their performance at Summerfest are on sale now and will include admission to Summerfest. “The World’s Largest Music Festival” attracts about 850,000 annually for the live music experience on the lakefront in Milwaukee. The festival spotlights over 800 acts, over 1,000 performances, 11 stages, and food and beverages.

Zac Brown Band is the fourth Marcus Amphitheater headliner announced for Summerfest 50!. Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform on opening night, June 28. Pink will perform live on July 2. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers ,with Chris Stapleton will bring their 40th anniversary tour to Milwaukee for two nights, July 5 and July 6, 2017.
